This page shows you how to cancel your GGAB membership and what happens after you do. Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed.

## Where did you subscribe?

- **On the GGAB website:** you cancel on the website. See [On the web](#on-the-web).
- **In the GGAB app:** Apple or Google bills you, so you cancel in the App Store or Google Play. See [In the app](#in-the-app).

Not sure? In the app, open **Settings** and look under **Membership**. It says whether your membership is managed in your App Store or Google Play account, or on the GGAB website. On the website, the **Billing** page tells you if you subscribed in the app.

## On the web

1. Click your name or initials in the top right and choose **Billing**.
2. Under **Current plan**, click **Manage billing**.
3. Your billing portal opens on Stripe, our payment provider. Cancel your subscription there and confirm.
4. Go back to **Billing**. It now shows the date your subscription will cancel.

We also send you an email with the date your access ends.

Changed your mind before then? Click **Manage billing** again and resume your subscription in the portal.

### If you see Cancel at end of period

Some members pay each period by invoice, and nothing is charged automatically. If that's you, there's no billing portal:

1. Open **Billing**.
2. Click **Cancel at end of period**.

To undo it, click **Keep my plan** on the same page.

### If GGAB manages your plan

If **Billing** says your membership is managed by GGAB directly, nobody is charging you, so there's nothing to cancel. To change it, contact us from the [Contact page](https://getgoodatbadminton.com/contact).

## In the app

If you subscribed in the app:

1. Open the menu and tap **Settings** at the bottom.
2. In the **Membership** section, tap the **Membership** row.
3. Your App Store or Google Play subscription settings open. Cancel GGAB there.

You can also cancel straight from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The GGAB website can't cancel an app subscription for you.

If you subscribed on the website, tapping **Membership** opens your account page on the GGAB website instead. Click **Plan & billing**, then follow the steps under [On the web](#on-the-web).

## What happens next

- **You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for.** Nothing changes until that date.
- **Your tokens stay.** Tokens never expire, so whatever you have left is still on your account. Once your membership ends, your plan stops adding tokens, and you can't spend the ones you have on tracking, Ask GGAB or AI training reflections until you subscribe again.
- **Your matches stay.** Cancelling doesn't delete anything. After your membership ends, signing in on the website takes you to **Billing**, and the app shows the membership screen, until you subscribe again.
- **Early-member rates end with the membership.** If you joined early and pay a lower rate, it's held only while your membership stays active. If you resume before the end date, you keep it. Once the membership ends, coming back is at the current price.

## Coming back

You can subscribe again whenever you like. Sign in on the website and you'll land on **Billing**, where you can pick a plan. Your matches and any tokens you had left are still there.

To remove your data for good instead, see [How to delete your GGAB account](https://getgoodatbadminton.com/docs/delete-account).

## Coach plans

You cancel a Coach plan the same way, from **Billing**. You can also do it from the coach workspace: click **Settings** in the sidebar, then **Manage billing** next to your Coach plan.

Before you cancel:

- **Athletes on your plan lose their Pro access the day your plan ends.** Their accounts and history stay. Athletes who pay for their own Pro aren't affected.
- **Your coach home shows a warning** with that date until then.
- **Want to keep playing yourself?** Use **Switch to Pro** under **Compare plans** on **Billing** instead of cancelling. Your athletes lose their Pro access on the date that switch takes effect, the same as a cancellation.
