This page shows how to choose what GGAB tells you about, and where. You get every notification by default, and you turn off the ones you don't want.

## Where notifications reach you

- **In-app:** the notifications center, on the web and in the app. See [The notifications center](#the-notifications-center) below.
- **Email:** sent to the email you sign in with. Only some events have an email.
- **Push:** a notification on your phone from the GGAB app, once you allow it.

## On the web

1. Open your account menu at the top right and choose **Settings**.
2. Choose the **Notifications** tab.
3. Each event has a switch for every channel it uses: **In-app**, **Email** if we send an email for it, and **Push**. Press a switch to turn it **Off**. Press it again to turn it back **On**.

Changes save as soon as you press a switch, and apply to the app on your phone too.

| Event | When you get it | Switches |
|---|---|---|
| **Match tracking complete** | We've finished tracking a match you submitted. | In-app, Email, Push |
| **Action needed on a match** | Our review team sent a match back with a note on what to fix. | In-app, Email, Push |
| **Retrack updates** | Our answer when you ask us to retrack a match. | In-app, Push |
| **Training reminders** | A nudge to set goals before a scheduled session, and to reflect after it. | In-app, Push |
| **Drill suggestions** | New drills suggested for you in Training. | In-app, Push |
| **Recovery alerts** | Your watch data has been below your normal range for two days. | In-app, Push |
| **New friend request** | Someone sent you a friend request. | In-app, Push |
| **Friend request accepted** | A player accepted your friend request. | In-app, Push |
| **Coach invite** | A coach asked to link with you and see your match data. | In-app, Push |
| **Match shared with you** | A friend shared one of their tracked matches with you. | In-app, Push |
| **Shared match accepted** | A friend accepted a match you shared. | In-app, Push |
| **Referral bonus earned** | Someone you invited became a member. | In-app, Push |
| **Requested pro match ready** | A pro match you asked us to track is in Match Breakdown. | In-app, Email, Push |
| **Pro match request declined** | We couldn't track a pro match you asked for, and why. | In-app, Push |

## In the app

1. Open the menu and tap **Settings** at the bottom.
2. Under **Profile**, tap **Notifications**.
3. Each event lists its channels, with **Push** first. Tap a channel to switch it **On** or **Off**.

These are the same switches as on the web, so a change in one place shows in the other.

### Turn push on

1. Sign in and finish setting up the app. GGAB then asks if it can send you notifications.
2. Allow it.

If you said no before, turn notifications on for GGAB in your phone's settings. Then close GGAB fully and open it again.

### Turn all push off at once

Turn notifications off for GGAB in your phone's settings. That stops every GGAB push on that phone, whatever the switches say.

Signing out of the app also stops push to that phone.

## The notifications center

### On the web

1. Press the bell at the top right. A red number shows how many you haven't read.
2. Press a notification to open what it's about. It's marked as read.
3. Press **Mark all read** to clear the number.
4. Press **View all** to open the full **Notifications** page.

Opening the **Notifications** page marks everything as read. Each notification there has a thumbs up and a thumbs down, so you can tell us whether it was helpful, and **Open** to go to it.

### In the app

1. Tap the bell at the top right of a main screen, such as the Dashboard. A red dot means you have unread notifications.
2. Tap a notification to go to it. A match that needs fixing says **Tap to fix**.
3. Tap the cross on a notification to clear it, or tap **Clear all**.

Opening **Notifications** marks everything as read. Cleared notifications aren't deleted. Tap **View archive** to see them, and **Back to notifications** to return.

Tapping a push notification on your phone opens the matching screen in the app.

## Marketing email

Training tips, product news and offers have their own switch, **Marketing email**. Turning it off doesn't stop receipts or account email. It isn't available for players under 18.

- **Web:** open your account menu, choose **Settings**, then the **Privacy** tab.
- **App:** open the menu, tap **Settings**, and find it under **About**.
