# How to switch your GGAB membership between monthly and yearly > Move your GGAB membership from monthly to yearly billing or back, and see when it changes, what you pay and what happens to your tokens. This page shows you how to move your GGAB membership between monthly and yearly billing. Where you switch depends on where you subscribed. ## Where did you subscribe? - **On the GGAB website:** you switch on the website. See [On the web](#on-the-web). - **In the GGAB app:** Apple or Google bills you, so you switch in the App Store or Google Play. See [In the app](#in-the-app). - **With UPI in India:** we switch it for you. See [If you pay with UPI](#if-you-pay-with-upi). ## On the web This works the same way on Pro and Coach plans. ### Monthly to yearly 1. Click your name or initials in the top right and choose **Billing**. 2. Under **Current plan**, click **Switch to yearly**. The box above the button shows the yearly price at your rate. 3. Click the confirm button that appears. It shows the same yearly price. The change happens straight away. You can also switch from **Compare plans** on the same page. Choose **Yearly**, then click **Switch to yearly** on your plan's card. This way shows you a summary before you confirm: what's due today, the credit for your unused month, and how many tokens you'll get. ### What happens when you switch to yearly - **It starts today.** You're charged for the year now, minus a credit for the unused part of your current month. - **Your renewal date moves to today.** From then on you renew once a year. - **Your yearly tokens arrive with the payment.** Tokens you already have stay, and the yearly allowance is added on top. For how many tokens each plan includes, see [Account, Billing, and Privacy](https://getgoodatbadminton.com/docs/account-billing#tokens). - **Early-member rates come with you.** If you joined early, the yearly price is at your early-member rate. - **If your card is declined, nothing changes.** You stay on monthly. Update your card under **Manage billing** and try again. ### Yearly to monthly 1. Click your name or initials in the top right and choose **Billing**. 2. Under **Compare plans**, choose **Monthly**. 3. On your plan's card, click **Switch to monthly**. 4. Check the summary. **Due today** is zero. Click **Schedule the change**. What happens next: - **You keep yearly until the year you paid for ends.** Then you move to monthly. Nothing is charged or refunded now. - **Billing shows the date you'll move.** Until then nothing changes. - **Your tokens stay.** Your monthly allowance starts with your first monthly payment. - **Changed your mind?** Click **Cancel this change** on **Billing** before that date, and you stay on yearly. ### If you can't switch - **Your membership is set to cancel.** The plan cards say **Resume your plan to switch**. Resume it under **Manage billing** first. Click **Pay now** to settle it first. - **GGAB manages your plan.** If **Billing** says your membership is managed by GGAB directly, contact us from the [Contact page](https://getgoodatbadminton.com/contact) and we'll change it. ## In the app If you subscribed in the app: 1. Open the menu and tap **Settings** at the bottom. 2. In the **Membership** section, tap the **Membership** row. 3. Your App Store or Google Play subscription settings open. Choose the monthly or yearly option for GGAB there. What happens next: - **Apple or Google takes the payment** and decides when the change starts. - **When the store starts billing you on the new plan,** we update your membership and add that plan's tokens. Tokens you already have stay. - **The GGAB website can't switch an app membership.** On the website, **Billing** tells you so, and the plan cards say **Manage in your app store**. If you subscribed on the website, tapping **Membership** opens your account page on the GGAB website instead. Click **Plan & billing**, then follow the steps under [On the web](#on-the-web). ## If you pay with UPI A UPI payment mandate can't be updated, so your billing period can't change on the website.
