Our vision

Elevating the
Level of Badminton
Everywhere

We believe badminton players should have access to the same level of performance insight that athletes in the world’s most developed sports already enjoy.

Where this goes

01The gap

Some sports measure everything.
Badminton measures the score.

Runners can measure nearly every aspect of their training. Basketball teams analyze thousands of data points across every game. Professional athletes have entire performance teams dedicated to understanding what they do well, where they struggle, and exactly what they should work on next.

Running

Routinely measured

  • Pace
  • Cadence
  • Heart-rate zones
  • Ground contact time
  • Stride length
  • Vertical oscillation
  • Elevation
  • Training load
  • VO₂ estimate
  • Recovery time
  • Race prediction

Basketball

Routinely measured

  • Shot charts
  • Shot quality
  • Possession value
  • Player tracking
  • Defensive matchups
  • Rebound rates
  • Lineup efficiency
  • Turnover causes
  • Play-type breakdowns
  • Fatigue load

Final score

Everything else stays anecdotal: memory of the third game, a feeling about the backhand, a coach’s best guess.

In badminton, most players still have very little of that information.

We want to change that.

02Training should be individual

No two players
lose points the same way

One player may be losing points because their lifts consistently give opponents attacking opportunities. Another may have excellent shot quality but struggle to maintain it late in long rallies. Someone else may simply be playing the wrong shots in the wrong situations.

01

Their lifts consistently hand opponents an attacking opportunity.

The same drills as everyone else in the session.

02

Excellent shot quality, until it collapses late in long rallies.

The same drills as everyone else in the session.

03

The right shots, played in the wrong situations.

The same drills as everyone else in the session.

Three different problems. One session.

Your training should reflect your game, your strengths, your weaknesses, and the problems you are actually encountering on court.

03Bringing better data to badminton

First, measure
what actually happens

The first step is being able to understand what is happening. That is why we are building technology that turns badminton matches and training sessions into measurable performance data.

01

Shots

Every shot in the rally, by type, court position, and outcome.

02

Rally patterns

The sequences that keep repeating, and which of them you win.

03

Winners

Where your points are actually coming from.

04

Errors

Not just that you missed, but how, and from where on court.

05

Movement

How much court you cover, and what that coverage costs you.

06

Tendencies

The choices you keep making under pressure, counted.

07

Changes over time

Whether the thing you worked on last month actually moved, or only felt like it did.

Instead of relying entirely on memory or intuition, players and coaches should be able to see where points are being won and lost, and use that to make better training decisions.

But analytics are only the beginning.

04From data to better training

Training becomes
a loop built around you

Imagine finishing a match and being able to identify the exact situations costing you points. Then seeing how those weaknesses compare across your previous matches, understanding what may be causing them, and building your next sessions around improving them. As you train and compete, the system keeps learning from the results.

  1. Play

A match, a session, a set of rallies.

  2. Measure

    Shots, patterns, errors, movement, effort.

  3. Train

The next block, built around what the data found.

  4. Improve

The weakness moves, or it does not. Both are information.

Repeat

Over time, training becomes a feedback loop built specifically around you.

05Building the infrastructure

The performance layer
badminton never got

Badminton has never received the same investment in performance technology as many larger sports. We think that creates an enormous opportunity. We are building toward a platform that brings match analytics, training data, movement, physical performance, wearable data, coaching, and increasingly automated analysis into one place.

Movement & footwork

On-court coverage and impact, measured by hardware we are prototyping.

Research

Automated analysis

Tracking and insight that runs without a human tagging every rally.

In build

Coaching

Coaches working from the same evidence as their athletes.

In build

Physical performance & wearables

Heart rate, readiness, and per-rally effort read alongside the tape.

In build

Training data

Sessions, goals, and reflections tied back to match evidence.

Live

Pro benchmarking

Your game measured against tracked professional matches.

Live

Match analytics

Every rally and every shot, from your own footage.

Live

Not because badminton needs more statistics.

Because better information lets players and coaches make better decisions, and better decisions create better players.

The build order

The red current is what is already live. Branches are what we are building next — select one to zoom in. Underneath all of it, we keep scaling video infrastructure and AI tracking.

06Our vision

Raise the level
of badminton everywhere

A developing junior trying to understand their own game for the first time.

A coach managing dozens of athletes across a season.

An international player searching for the smallest competitive advantage left.

We want world-class performance tools to become accessible to all of them.

Talent is everywhere.

The tools to develop it
should be too.

We are building those tools for badminton.
