Strategy Finder
Describe your next opponent and find the pro matches that looked most like it: who won, how, and what to study before you play.

What it doesLink to this section
Tell Strategy Finder about the match you're about to play and it searches the pro library for the matchups that looked most like it. It casts the winner of each pro match as you, so every result is a pro who beat an opponent like yours. You get several matches and pros to study, the patterns that won those matches, and a written plan.

What to tell itLink to this section
Everything is optional. The more you fill in, the closer the matches.
- The match: singles, doubles or mixed.
- Your opponent: how they play and how tall they are, where they're from, and a description in your own words, like "tall lefty, smashes a lot, backhand clear lands short". If you've tracked a match against them, pick them and it uses what they actually did.
- You: your handedness and height, your strengths and weaknesses, and whether to use your tracked matches. With your matches on, it compares how you play with how the winners played.
- The hall: where you're playing, how fast the shuttle plays there, and whether there's drift. Pro matches from halls that play the same way rank higher.
How it picks the matchesLink to this section
Each pro match is scored on how closely it fits what you told it. Handedness matches exactly first; a mirror image (a righty against a lefty when you're a lefty against a righty) counts only when there aren't enough exact matches.
When there aren't enough close matches, it widens the search step by step and says so on the report. It never swaps discipline: a singles search only ever returns singles, and doubles only doubles.
A pattern only makes the plan when the numbers clearly separate it, so a handful of lucky rallies won't show up as advice.
RunsLink to this section
Each search is one run. Pro and Coach members can run as many as they like, up to 10 in any hour. If your plan counts runs by the month, the form shows how many you have left. Your past reports stay in Strategy Finder to reopen at any time.
Strategy Finder only reads the pro library and, if you allow it, your own tracked matches. It never changes your data.
